Our Story
Hello, and welcome to Esthetics Advanced! My name is Mariya. I am a licensed esthetician and an educator. My career as a therapist stared over ten years ago when I joined the program in Sacramento, CA. However, my road in the beauty industry began long before that. My initial introduction to this amazing career began when I received my first manicure, and since then I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to help people to feel beautiful and boost their confidence. I finished the course for the manicuring program in my hometown and started my own business as a manicuring technician.
After moving to the States I wanted to proceed doing what I knew best. However, it was different and not as easy as it was back home. That was the time when I got introduced to the skincare part of the beauty industry….. Oh, how can I describe the excitement??? No, it is not possible!!! But you already know the feeling, don’t you? I fell in love with skin, treatments and possibilities that the industry could lead me to.
After graduating, I opened my own little practice. My favorite part, though, was when I educated my clients on the proper skin care treatments and regiments. I continued my education, and there was a moment of growth when I went to the same school that I graduated from and became an esthetic educator myself. I didn’t give up my practice and never stopped learning. With over three years of being undergraduate instructor I had 100% State Board passing rate. I obtained my certificate with NCEA. While teaching the main course to the new professionals was amazing and rewarding, I new that I have to give them more and that is when I started working on the program that would advance my students from other schools.

I do and I know.” The classes are formed to fit your specific needs. Most of the courses divided into tree tiers. First part is theory, where you will learn in depth details about the subject, indications and contraindications for the treatments . Second part is when you observe the treatments, techniques, and products used to achieve the best results for your clients. The third aspect of program is hands on. You will practice on real clients under our supervision in small class settings where every practicing student will receive undivided attention. You will leave the class knowing how to deal with unexpected complications that might occur. How to protect your client and yourself from the lawsuits and how to minimize the risks with the specific treatments. At the end of each class you will receive the Certificate of Achievement proving your progress.

We understand that there are different levels of education and needs for it. And while someone is ready to take a full course, others can only absorb so much information. That is why we cater to all levels of knowledge and finances. Tier 1 is Theory of the subject. We go into details, answer all questions, discuss the possible variations and share the knowledge and experiences. In the Tier 2 we introduce the demonstration of the treatments. As we understand that you have to see the action. And the final Stage is the Hands on Experience. Under a close supervision you will perform the treatment and get comfortable practicing new skills.
To consolidate the studied materials it is always best to practice. We offer the hands on classes that will boost your confidence and put you on the fastest way to achieve your goals.
